Greetings,
I recently reformatted/reset my Lenovo laptop. I then tried to watch "So You Think You Can Dance" on the Fox website. I had not installed Flash, so I clicked the link that took me to Adobe and installed Flash. However, after restarting my browser, then laptop, all I get is a still/frozen video image while audio is playing.
I have tried tirelessly to troubleshoot this with Adobe's online support, but to avail.
If I go to the following link and click "Check Now," I get the congratulations message: Flash Player Help
If I go to this link, NOTHING BUT A WHITE SPACE shows under "Flash Player Information" where there is supposed to be the version, etc.: Flash Player | Windows 7 | Internet Explorer 64 bit
If I right-click on a flash video and click on "Settings," nothing happens.
I tried to figure out a way to make Flash my default player, but there are no instructions on how to do so where Adobe suggests doing it. When I went to assign a default program to file extensions, Windows does not offer anything close to Adobe or Flash.
Flash is an enabled add-on in my IE.
Please help and thank you for your time and assistance!
