I have a 1997-2003 reports on Adobe PDF - they consist of few hidden layers of the same data. How can I covert it to only one layer?

Is there someone that can assist me? I have to sent the file to print as a picture and than I had to remake it as PDF again and than to OCR it. The Size of the file is too big now. What should I do?
