Question with "unspecified" results with custom conversion variable (eVar)

So I have a custom eVar that is tied to an event. That event will only fire when that eVar is set via clicked. When I am looking through workspace, I see such a high number of occurrences that is unspecified. I am just curious and wanted to know, what is the cause of this? Should I be worried? How can we fix this? or any other helpful tips/ideas that any of you who experienced this can recommend to me. I would greatly appreciate it very much. Hopefully someone from Adobe can provide more details to me, i've read all the documents from Adobe but I feel like i'm not getting the answer(s) I want and hoping someone with experience can better explain it to me.

 

Side Note: At first I thought the unspecified was because the custom variable was breaking, but then I read in another thread to disregard occurrences and that if it was tied to an event, add that metrics and it should match up and unspecified will display 0 if everything was implemented correctly.

Thanks. I just figured out that since I did an A/B test the click thru option isn’t available. At least I’m assuming that’s the reason.

thank you very much workflowuser below is the DDX I put together based on the example. I do have questions

 

 

in the process I understand that the first step will be to extract the XML data from a given pdf and that is the attachmentInfo.xml that will have all the information of the attachments inside.

 

the nameKeys "*" wildcard is so that all document level file attachments be returned.

 

the source..... based on the DDX I already know the source name "doc3.pdf" what if the source name is not known and you want to process any pdf with different names? or is it a rule that you have to know the source filename?

 

is there a way for you to create a process where you input a pdf with attachments then extract the xml and add the DDX and extract them into a directory? can you zip that process or application?

Hi Ramon,

 

If I am in A, and I can add "All" as well as A in an audience. This means that when I am creating a delivery, I can send email or SMS delivery to profiles which are outside of A as well ("All").

 

This is confusing because while creating a delivery , I can only create it if the campaign on which it is created belongs to the same org unit A. But, for audience I am able to send it to org unit "All" as well.

I have done this.

After adding the check boxes to the table using the Object Library, select the cells with the check boxes.

Under the Layout tab, set Caption to None.

Then, adjust the Right margin so that your check boxes are centered.

For my 1/2 inch column, a .2 inch right margin looked nice.

Hello Mark,

 

Whatever you are fetching from the Eligible Recipient will be available for the Sub-workflow to use. Did you try running this workflow ?

 

It should work properly.

The source name can be anyname

you create a map of documents with the key equal to the source name defined in the xdp and the value is going to be the document from which you want to extract the attachments

you then pass the map of Documents to process

let me check if I can quickly create a sample process

One quick Question can you move to OSGI workflow ?

here they have everything on JEE and will be moving into OSGI in the future. So i am working with AEM forms 6.3. I hope i can import easily if you send me a package since i am not the admin.

so this map of documents will be inside of the xml below?

with a key  = doc3.pdf (or any name)

The issue is resolved. My bad this issue was appearing due to office proxy restriction. With personal internet connection it is working fine. Unfortunately in logs I did not find any mentioned on proxy or connection issue so it took time to figure out what is causing the issue.

Hello all,

 

 

I'm not using an on-premise version of Adobe Campaign Classic so I don't have access to server configurations.

I just had a response from Neolane Support that it's a build defect and they will release a fix in one of the next releases.

 

 

In the meantime could you tell me which is the parameter to configure on serverConf.xml for the increase of the number of connections? There is something else I can do through the client in the meanwhile?

Make a field visible dependent on another fields length - Issue change event

Hi all,

 

I want to make a field named "KdAufPos" visible, if another field named "Kontierungselement" (text field) has the character length 7.

I am using the following javascript code in the change event of the Kontierungselement field:

var currentLength = this.rawValue.length;

var kdAufPos = FormServiceRequestConfirmation.mstPageSet1.mstPage1.frmTitle.KdAufPos;

console.println("currentLength "+ currentLength);

My issue is that the change event is not triggering correctly. After I am opening the PDF and entering data in the field, the console is showing up but don't display my console.println - I got an error with "TypeError: this.rawValue is null".

Just after exit the field and click in again, I got the console.println and got displayed sometimes the right and sometimes the wrong length...

 

What is this error about? Why is it that after clicking out and in again the script seems to work and at least do something?

Any tips?

Hello all,

 

I'm configuring my Offer module (space, category) but when deploying the offer space I'm getting the following error:

 

XFR-180000 The file '/usr/local/neolane/nl6/datakit/eng/schema/.xml' does not exist on the server. Unable to load the document of identifier '' and type 'xtk:schema'.

SOP-330011 Error while executing the method 'CompileRealTimeScript' of service 'nms:interaction'.

(1:1) : Invalid document structure

XML-110018 Error while parsing XML string ''

SOP-330011 Error while executing the method 'ProposeOffers' of service 'nms:offerSpace'.

[nms:webApp Error] SOP-330011 Error while executing the method 'CompileRealTimeScript' of service 'nms:interaction'.

Multiple file processing in ACS

Hi,

 

We have a scenario where we get multiple files as input at a SFTP server and we need to read all those files and send emails. We tried to use Transfer File activity, it could read all the files but while processing the data in further activities only the last file record are considered.

 

The file nomenclature is Marketinglist_<n>.csv where n is an integer.

 

so lets say we have files marketinglist_1.csv, marketinglist_2.csv so on. Each file may have varied number of records. we can to send email to each of these records.How can we achieve that?

 

any help will be appreciated.

HI Vikash,

 

In your transfer file activity when you give the file path for download are you giving as Marketing* to load all the files and process them. Ideally it should process all the files.

no the map of documents is process variable that you will create....

 

like this?

 

 

 

you lost me on the "setvmakeup component" is that part of the process? a service operation? remember i am not on workflow i am in workbench.

 

can you please send me or copy and paste in here the workbench screenshots?
